We are seeking a passionate and skilled Technical Demonstrator in Music and Performing Arts to join our dynamic team. You will support the planning, delivery and assessment of a range of FE programmes across Level 2, Level 3, and Elective Home Education courses. This role involves hands-on technical instruction, guidance and assessment of learners in both group and individual settings, with a strong focus on developing vocational and practical skills through live events, music gigs and theatrical performances.
You will play a vital role in maintaining and developing our outstanding curriculum and creative teaching environment. Responsibilities include assisting in the delivery of lesson plans, supporting get-ins and get-outs for performances, tracking learner progress, supervising work-related experiences, and ensuring the effective maintenance of equipment and resources. You will also contribute to college-wide events such as open days and auditions, and collaborate closely with course teams, support staff and wider college departments.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification or higher in a Music or Music Production-related specialism and demonstrate experience in both the creative industries and learner development. Strong communication, organisational and IT skills are essential, along with a commitment to personal development and safeguarding practices.
